Nice bunch of tunes… particularly enjoyed Voxtrot, Teenage Fanclub, Kate Nash and Honeyroot.
A propos of nothing, I’ve just discovered my noy’s band (Ruby and the Emeralds) will be on the same bill in a week’s time at the Strawberry Fields micro festival. As it is about a mile from my door, I shall be down there. Are you coming down?
I prefer breeders version and jimi’s of the originals but then there’s the debate of ‘Yeh, but they wrote it blah blah’ but hey at least its not generic rubbish either way.

any background on the Teenage Fanclub track? viz who are the vocalists, and where does it spring from?
It was originally on a free tape with select and cropped up as a b-side too…anyone any ideas?

Nothing to be done was track 3 onTF’s 1997 Start Again CD2. The only information is “Additional vocals on 3 by Katrina Mitchell.”
As I have no idea who she is I’m not really any the wiser but I do have a nice CD copy of the song which I *do* like
Katrina Mitchell is part of The pastels; she also collaborated with V-Twin.
